Pfizer To ‘Require’ Twice-Per-Day COVID Pill Alongside Vaccines
Pfizer is so confident the pill will be approved and likely mandated that it has started production before the end of clinical trials

Pharmaceutical megacorporation Pfizer is now developing a COVID pill that is meant to be taken alongside the COVID vaccines that have already made the company a staggering amount of money. The new pill is expected to be released by the end of the year and will be required to be taken twice per day.
“Success against #COVID19 will likely require both vaccines & treatments,” Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said on Wednesday. “We’re pleased to share we’ve started a Phase 2/3 study of our oral antiviral candidate-specifically designed to combat SARS-CoV-2-in non-hospitalized, low-risk adults.”
...

That is a thoroughly dishonest pretzellation of what Bourla said!

Bourla's clear meaning is that both treatment
s and vaccine
s (plural usage intrinsically means that he is not speaking
only of Pfizer's vaccine) are part of dealing with Covid. Vaccines prevent and/or lessen infections - within our imperfect world, vaccines are also imperfect. For those who do get infected, many will need treatments, of which there are scores or hundreds, for the several stages, severities, and symptoms of the disease. Nothing in Bourla's statement even suggests that
Pfizer's treatment would be a
requirement for those who received Pfizer's (or any other) vaccine.
Gabriel Keane lied. Attacking Pfizer, as he lyingly did, for daring to offer a treatment as well as a vaccine is malicious to the point of being evil.
