Graham hits moderate GOP senators fooled by Biden trickery: ‘You look like a f*cking idiot now’
June 26, 2021 | Vivek Saxena

In an unexpectedly profane outburst Friday, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., slammed President Joe Biden for his dirty-handed, treacherous games.

At issue was the so-called “bipartisan” infrastructure deal that Republican Sens. Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Bill Cassidy and Rob Portman had negotiated with the president and five Democrat senators.

The purpose of working with Democrats had been to convince them to settle with a smaller, fairer “bipartisan” bill versus the grandiose reconciliation bill full of disastrous Democrat goodies that they’d originally been seeking.

While Graham was reportedly among those Republicans who originally expressed some support for the bill, that support evaporated faster than a drop of water in the desert once he learned that it was all a ruse by Biden and Senate Democrats.

In a statement Thursday, the president explained that he’d only sign the bill if the Senate also passes a separate reconciliation bill that’s full of Democrat goodies. If that were to happen, Democrats would get everything they originally wanted, in addition to the veneer of “bipartisanship.” Republicans, meanwhile, would get nothing.

Republicans should welcome a Democrat reconciliation attempt.  First, get what concessions you can from the Dems, then 'filibuster' the hell out of any reconciliation attempt.

Contrary to what the media would have you believe, filibustering a reconciliation bill (with no allowance for cloture) is foolproof.  Because the tradeoff for no cloture vote is that any and every amendment offered must be given the chance to be read in its entirety on the Senate floor.

All we need is for one GOP Senator to offer a slew of 10,000 page amendments to be added to the reconciliation bill.  Preferably a Senator with a pronounced stutter.

But then we'd need one GOP senator who actually didn't want the bill to pass, or more specifically, was willing to stand against his own party's leadership.

Yep.  And also, one who was willing to work on a Friday (and possibly Saturday and Sunday) to put our nation's interests ahead of their own personal conveniences.

I think the Generals won at least 1 game against the Trotters.   So they are ahead of the GOP.

And Hamilton Burger won one case against Perry Mason.  Why do these fools continue, at this point?

  • I need to be in love, K.c. R.C.
As some of us predicted this was going to happen, and this kind of crap has happened for decades now.  Democrats deceive and lie to Republicans, and Republicans posture they were utterly clueless, like it was their first day in politics, and the democrats get everything they want, and the Republicans posture used and abused violated virgins.  As i have pointed out many times, they sleep in the same bed behind closed doors.

Odd, this crap has gone on countless times, as Republicans swear they lost their virtue/virginity to lieing deceiving evil Democrats.  Can you really believe they can play this game countless times, and still get away with it ?  Graham, Romney, and Pence have surrendered and are full fledged members of the Democrats Lewinsky show, and promiscuously so.  They really do believe the dumbing down of Americas is just this successful.
