I heard today that the DEMS are proposing a bill that mandates that homes must be brought up to "green" standards and if you have not upgraded your home to those standards you will not be able to sell it; pretty much making a lot of homes worthless!

Was that state or federal?

You're correct, Joe -- but not in the way that YOU THINK you are.

The only force that will stop the violence now tearing at the seams of civilization in our cities can be GREATER "violence", applied against the offenders (of your "certain demographics) with sufficiently increasing force until they realize that their behavior will no longer work.

Then they'll "stop".
Not until.

I realize this post won't be popular.
Tough.

Yes, the demographics causing 90% of the problem have to be stepped on harshly not placated. Unfortunately, in this environment that will not happen.

I doubt he will survive long in prison. Hopefully he can hold on until his appeal can be heard.

Federal.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Suicide watch?  How much you want to bet that he has an 'accident' before his sentencing?

"Derek Chauvin didn't kill himself."

I saw the little girl that was maybe 8  years old that witnessed this when it happened, and learned "She has written a book on her experiences."
