2 reasons you’re hearing about extending trial for months: 1) we’re at that stage of the standard media/Democrat info op (see: Kavanaugh, Thomas, all their previous political info ops) 2) they know Trump defense team effectively countered their arguments, made many look silly.

OK if they’re going to start calling witnesses, I suggest Trump’s lawyers call Nancy Pelosi to find out how much she knew about the threat before January 6th and call Kamala Harris

Trump's lawyers don't actually have any witnesses that can help prove his innocence so the strategy is just to say WE HAVE A LOT OF WITNESSES to make it seem like this could somehow benefit them
