110 degrees?  LOL!  It's hotter here than in Phoenix.  it was >110 for 3-4 months straight, many >115 and a few >120.

But it is dryer here, too.  Phoenix is in the Sonoran Desert, the Castle is in the Mojave Desert.....

Why?  Because we're old or have type A blood or some other risk factor that means our chance of recovery is much lower than 99.6%.  (Note the first person plural pronouns there.)  As for the rest of the population, why do many people want the seasonal flu vaccine?

2020 was messed up in more ways than the make-believe COVID panic.  We had the sham Impeachment, then months of riots.

I'm just happy to be retired, in a small Castle out of the big city, and into a smallish city in the far northwest corner of AZ.  Beautiful views all around, and the Castle has a plus feature I like:  A full bar with a Kegerator for my draft beer.

Yeah, I like the high ground.  From my upper deck I can reach out and touch somebody on three of the four sides.  It's a steep climb up the rocks at the top, so paths of entry to the Castle are extremely limited.  I don't need a moat.

But @Cyber Liberty you could always through old cat litter bombs from castle walls instead of rocks and stuff like they did in medieval times. I bought this scoop away stuff you put in the litter box which made the urine clump into a nice hard ball. Believe me, throw that at someone. They wouldn’t mess with you again.

It's our conservative way, to believe people should be able to assess their own risks.  They'll try to sell the vax to us the same way they did with masks:  Demand we take it, to "protect others."  That's the socialist way.

I questioned why a "94.5% successful" vaccine was even necessary for a virus which for the highest risk group (70+ yrs) has a proven 94.7% survival rate?

I then asked why there has been a virtual non-existent 2020 seasonal flu season right now, yet an explosion of positive tests for Covid?

Then I asked why the total number of overall NATIONAL deaths year-to-date in 2020 is virtually the same as it has been for the same period in 2018, 2019?

Finally, I suggested that this is all an excuse to forbid mandatory IN-PERSON voting, as well as a concerted effort to destroy American Small Businesses; the absolute BACKBONE of the National Economy.

Everyone looked at me like I was Ozzy Osbourne talking.

So, I just asked them to pass me the green bean casserole.

I've posted at least once - probably several times - that I oppose mandatory vaccinations. Given that the states most likely to be that tyrannous are trying to obstruct the coming vaccines (NY, CA, OR, WA), I do not think mandatory vaccinations are a realistic prospect.
