It's not "liberalism" we're talking about any more, bele.
If the left gains full control ahead we're going to end up on a fast track to heavily-leftist socialism which will eventually deteriorate into full-blown communism.
This isn't something they dreamed up within the past couple of years. They've been laying the foundations for this takeover since the 1960's at least (the communist "underground" in America goes back to the late 1920's or so).
Up until about ten years ago, the leftists/communists never could have "taken the country by vote". Whether that vote was obtained through fraud or not.
But the times, they've been a-changin', and in more ways than one.
Remember Romney's remark about "the 47% that would never vote for us"?
He got trashed for that, but it was one of the few times he's been right.
That was back in 2012, but it ain't 2012 any more.
Since then, "the 47%" continues to grow, and may now actually have tipped over 50%, perhaps 51-52%.
And those numbers can only INCREASE in the years ahead, a result of a public education system under leftist control that has been fantastically successful in indoctrinating the nation's young that America is not a land of freedom and justice, but rather of racism and wrongdoing.
Hence the depressing surveys that find no small numbers of Americans now view socialism and even communism, as preferable to traditional capitalism.
So... even if they won with the help of widespread fraud this time, the future would have been tougher for us, in any case.
I take no enjoyment in posting about such things.
Perhaps the questions that should be asked now are to the effect:
How will traditional-minded Americans survive and hold onto as much as we can of that which we consider dear in the dark years ahead?
And finally... how long will it take for American communism to burn through the country until it finally burns itself out, as it did in the old Soviet Union?
