Democratic Ohio Rep. Marcia Fudge, a frontrunner for a position in President-elect Joe Biden's cabinet, vouched for a man accused of domestic abuse, who then went on to murder his ex-wife after he got out of prison.

Fudge is making her case to be Biden's secretary of agriculture, she told Politico on Wednesday, emphasizing her loyalty to Biden. The Sunrise Movement, a far-left activist group, also included Fudge on a list of approved potential cabinet nominations. ...

Fudge was born in Cleveland and graduated from a high school in Cleveland. She earned a BS in Business at Ohio State and a JD from Cleveland State University. Nothing particularly wrong with all that, except she has zero experience or ties to agriculture beyond serving on a relevant House Committee. Fudge may be a decent person (or a harpy), but she has zero qualifications for the job.

BTW, the current SecAg grew up and lives in a rural area in which he practices veterinary medicine. Whether his practice includes farm people's large animals as well as the cats and dogs, I don't know.

We had a state secretary of agriculture once whose "farming" experience was a financial interest in a bottled spring water company. Thankfully, we now have a great guy, retired military, who runs his own farm, raises livestock, etc., in the post.

Fudge is clearly missing her calling, she should be in charge of investigating people that commit suicide and are feeling seriously depressed about working for the Clintons.  The Clintons need more cover for their covert operations, and Fudge could fudge up the investigations real good !
