Biden seeks to use the bully pulpit he has on COVID-19

President-elect Joe Biden is wasting no time in using his bully pulpit to push public health measures, like mask wearing and physical distancing, that public health experts say will work best to combat the rapid spread of COVID-19.

Biden has promised a much more forceful federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic than President Trump and has announced his own COVID advisory board of health experts.

During a speech Monday, Biden implored Americans to put aside politics and wear masks, saying it was a necessary step to take for “the soul of this country.”


“It's time to end the politicization of basic, responsible public health steps like mask wearing and social distancing,” Biden said. “A mask is not a political statement, but it is a good way to start pulling the country together.”

I'm neither a mask denier nor a mask-Nazi. but masks are of varying effectiveness (depending on type, the reusable cloth types having slight effectiveness) and have to be used correctly (including not handling the inside while putting it on and not handling the outside while taking it off). So Joe's mask fetish plus uninformed usage will all but certainly cause greater harm than leaving people to choose their own degree of risk and means of risk management.

Joe Clueless is going to defeat this virus like it was an enemy army.  The man is totally clueless.  Hire hundreds of thousands of contract tracers when the virus has gone totally viral.

My wife, an infectious disease physician scoffed when I told her.  She said when we were about three weeks into this pandemic, we had gone beyond contract tracing being very effective. 

BIDEN IS A F*&^ING PHONY AND/OR TOTALLY CLUELESS
