At the very least, he's the most poorly trained security guy in history. Saw something on Twitter that the shooter had been mouthing off to the patriot guys. Not confirmed.

I've seen videos on social media where Antifa rioters wear arm bands or t-shirts and hats saying "MEDIA" on them, resisting law enforcement.

Even the dude whose right bicep was blown up claimed to be a "MEDIC"...a medic who chased after Kyle Rittenhouse holding a handgun.
...the dude who later claimed...paraphrased..."My only mistake is not hesitating to shoot him right away when I had the chance".

They wear masks, goggles, helmets, vests and boots...and carry umbrellas to avoid facial recognition by CCTV cameras.

DPD originally took two people into custody and later found the second individual, a 9NEWS producer who works in the investigative unit, was not involved in the incident. The producer is no longer in police custody and is not a suspect.

Update: Further investigation has determined the suspect is a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

This incident occurred beneath a city police surveillance camera and police confirmed they have footage of what happened.

DPD said that a little before 3:50 p.m. there was some sort of verbal altercation just as protesters were leaving the area.

DPD reported the victim was being transported to the hospital at 3:49 p.m., and said the victim died an hour later. That victim has not been identified.

Two guns were found on the scene, according to DPD.

Doesn't appear so, if Ian Cheong's tweets (posted above) are accurate. Not surprising, though. The Denver PD were on the scene yesterday and did nothing to deescalate the situation. Once someone was lying dead on the sidewalk, they came over to check it out.

Seems their (Denver PD) deescalation tactic was to lie that the shooter was not affiliated with Antifa. Some nuts need to be cut off for this one.

Denver NBC affiliate News9 admitted that the shooter who killed a man near a â€œPatriot Rallyâ€ worked for them as a contract security guard. The incident occurred at the end of the rally as people were leaving the area.

â€œA private security guard is being held as a suspect in a deadly shooting near the Denver Art Museum,â€ News9 reported Saturday night. â€œThe private security guard in custody was contracted through Pinkerton by 9NEWS. It has been the practice of 9NEWS for a number of months to contract private security to accompany staff at protests.â€

During the cloud of confusion in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Denver police officials tweeted they had two people in custody in connection to the shooting incident.
