Missouri governor says he'll pardon St. Louis couple who pointed guns at protesters after indictment
By Aris Folley - 10/07/20 08:11 PM EDT

Missouri Gov. Michael Parson (R) vowed on Wednesday to pardon Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the white couple who drew national attention over the summer after footage of them pointing guns at Black Lives Matter protesters outside their home went viral, after the pair was indicted on charges related to the incident the day before.

Parson said at a news conference on Wednesday that he “most certainly would” issue a pardon for the couple should they be convicted on counts of exhibiting a weapon and tampering with evidence brought against them over the June incident, according to The Associated Press.

“We’ll let it play out and see how this all comes out in the courts, but I stand by what I said,” Parsons continued.

The governor also suggested he was prepared to issue pardons for the couple back in July after circuit attorney Kim Gardner launched an investigation into the June 28 incident.

Parson needs to launch an investigation into Kim Gardner, IMO.  We already know who her main backer is.... but getting that proof might throw a rather shady light on her over-reach and abuse of power.

If Gardner doesn't receive consequences for this politically-driven perversion of justice she will do it again and more egregiously. The McCloskeys have nothing to lose, and should turn this against her, attack her career.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

If Parson believes the McCloskeys were improperly charged and if he would be willing to pardon them after a trial (and conviction) -- which will cost the couple a good bit of money and leave their arrest/conviction "on the record" (but pardoned)... then... why doesn't he just pardon them NOW, so that they don't have to go through all that?

Parson should issue his pardon NOW, and along with it a statement that should serve as both a re-affirmation of 2nd Amendment rights (in Missouri) and a rebuke to the prosecutor as well.

He should also state that similar charges for similar incidents will receive THE SAME PARDON so long as he is governor, and along with that he should ENCOURAGE citizens of his state to exercise their "public rights" (to "bear" arms) as stipulated in The Constitution...

Are you sure it's even legal for him to do that before any conviction?   It may not be in that state.   At any rate, he could make some announcement re: the over-reach of Gardner as a warning.  Could, but probably won't.   It's like they're on thin ice everywhere, afraid to stand up to the leftists.

Medvin says that the intervention by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who’s filed a brief to intervene in the case and dismiss the charges against the St. Louis couple, should be enough to put a halt to the prosecution.
