Internet personality, singer, and content creator Tana Mongeau might’ve broken U.S. election laws with a ‘Booty for Biden’ vote drive, where people allegedly shared proof they voted for Biden in exchange for nude images of Mongeau.

Mongeau claims on Instagram that she received ballot proof from over 10,000 Biden voters and that she compensated them with nude photos in exchange. “My naked body is doing so many things for Biden,” Mongeau said on one of her TikTok videos.

A look at U.S. election law shows a provision titled, Expenditures to influence voting, that states:

Whoever makes or offers to make an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate; and Whoever solicits, accepts, or receives any such expenditure in consideration of his vote or the withholding of his vote— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

According to a 2016 Associated Press report, taking ballot selfies is illegal in 16 states.  ...
