I like this version better than John Lennon's.

Kids drive me nuts.
"It aint what you don't know that kills you.  It's what you know that aint so!" ...Theodore Sturgeon

"It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living" F. Scott Fitzgerald

If we had just let them eat the Tide pods, none of this would be happening right now

I usually don't post here because I am not really into music, but I do love Christmas music.  The video is from December 2007.

It's an hour long but worth it.  At the very least, skip to the end for "Let it Snow."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jga12Im8cvk

I'll actually be seeing them preform on Tuesday.

Sadly, only two of the ladies in this video are still with the group, Chloe and Máiréad (fiddler girl), the other three have all left.  My favorite, Lisa, went on maternity leave in January and decided not to come back, probably for good.

This was filmed Saturday, January 5th.

You can see the top of my head just to the right of the monitor speaker.

I've known the drummer (Pat Bautz) since he was 12. I was friends with his brothers back in HS, and he hooked me up with great tickets (front row center aisle seats) for the concert.

Chuck Negron hasn't been with the band for quite some time, and they (like the rest of us) are aging.

But the music hasn't aged.

Well...some of it they've tried to update.

“Perhaps we’ll have some answers, at least, before the end. I always dreamed of dying well-informed.” ― Joe Abercrombie, The First Law Trilogy

"The growth of knowledge depends entirely upon disagreement." — Karl Popper

“Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place." — Frederic Bastiat
