Thanks for putting that up on the board, Lando!

Very timely, IMO.

Slight side-step from the great rock and country links

Our New Church turned me on to this Christian Rock group and this beautiful song.

I love the Cranberries.  I watched a documentary the other day about Irish musicians from the 50's to now, it was great.  I love the whole Celtic thing, there was some hard rockin' too!

I love the Cranberries.

You know how long it took me to find out the name of the group?  I was going insane everytime I would hear Dreams or Linger on the radio, hoping they would say who the artist was or even the song title.  Resorted to asking a kid 30 years younger than me, "who sings that?"    I'm not a fan at all of pop songs from the 1990s, but those two stand out as real gems.

For your sake and the sake of marital bliss, I will hope that these two stick to the music and spare you any political commentary.  Nothing pisses me off quicker than to pay a lot of money to go see someone in concert only to be "treated" to the political (half) wit of the performer....

The Dave Clark Five - Bits & Pieces - Top Of The Pops (1964)

I actually saw this performance by the Dave Clark Five on TV and thought it was 'weird' the way they all synched left and right....throughout the entire song.

To the point that whenever I think of this band, it's not the greatness of "Because"....it's the stupid choreography of "Bits n' Pieces".  LOL!

The Jukebox Time Machine

This is neat. It's sort of a "Jukebox Time Machine" of music. Each of the years below connects to the best 20 hits of that year via a Jukebox. Click on a year, wait a few seconds, and a Jukebox will appear showing you 20 hits from that year to select from. You can play all 20 hits, or.. click on just those that you like. Enjoy the ride!
