The idea that somebody looked at a purple onion and called it a red onion really bothers me.

I actually have been doing this quite a bit. Went out to see a band last night. (And boy, they were kind of off their game.)

I hear "Good Vibrations" on the radio at work a lot. It still amazes me the kind of mind that he had to put together the compositions he did. This was not your standard pop fare. I mean, I can write standard pop fare.

But this…this was the work of a very complex mind. Right up there with the great classical and Baroque composers.

Those lives were mine to love and cherish.
To guard and guide along life's way.
Oh God forbid that one should perish.
That one alas should go astray.

Back in the years with all together,
Around the place we'd romp and play.
So lonely now and oft' times wonder,
Oh will they come back home some day.

I'm lonesome for my precious children,
They live so far away.
Oh may they hear my calling... Calling..
And come back home some day.

I gave my all for my dear children,
Their problems still with love I share,
I'd brave life's storm, defy the tempest
To bring them home from anywhere.

I lived my life my love I gave them,
To guide them through this world of strife,
I hope and pray we'll live together,
In that great glad here after life.

I'm lonesome for my precious children,
They live so far away.
Oh may they hear my calling... Calling.. And come back home some day.

But it has happened before.   LOL!

Watched "MUD", the coming of age movie starring Matthew McConaughey, Tye Sheridan and Jacob Lofland and Reese Witherspoon....for the 5th time.

Never get tired of it.  This song plays during the closing credits.

Apologize for posting this here, in addition to "the table at Mory's", but I was shocked to learn that once she was 'normal'

....and before "twerking" was added to the lexicon.

She's actually got a great voice.
