CAMP SHELBY, Miss. (February 6, 2020) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133 prepare to conduct a field training exercise (FTX) at Camp Shelby, Miss. FTX provides a robust training environment where U.S. Navy Seabee forces plan and execute multiple mission essential tasks including convoy security, force protection, and camp buildup prior to deployment.

The Navy is considering opening tattoo parlors on its bases at "multiple locations," including Naval Base Guam and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii, a Navy official said Friday.

News of the plan comes a few weeks after the official opening of a tattoo studio on Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas, the first on a U.S. military base.
