Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fired a jab at the state’s Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski for comments that suggested she could “go rogue†on backing President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court.
Palin, the former 2008 vice president pick for the late Sen. John McCain, hinted at when Murkowski is up for reelection in a video she posted, announced that she could “see 2022†from her Alaska home. The message seemed to suggest that Palin could run a primary challenge against the GOP senator.
“Lisa Murkowski, this is my house,†Palin began in her two-minute-plus video. “I’m willing to give it up … for the greater good of this country and this great state.â€
“If you can’t find it within yourself to do the right thing this time, and at least give a fair shake to the Supreme Court nominee that your president will be bringing before you, if you can’t find it within yourself to do the right thing, … and [do] what the majority of Americans want you to do, to do what you were sent to Washington, D.C., to do,†Palin said.
