CNN host Don Lemon proposed radically changing the U.S. political system to take power away from the "minority" vote in the country.

During the hand-off before his show Monday night, Lemon debated fellow network host Chris Cuomo by arguing Democrats should push to eliminate the Electoral College, which would require a constitutional amendment. Lemon said such a feat was possible if Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden wins the presidency and Democrats "stack the courts."

"Until you have a group of people that decide to consistently be better than what they reject, you’re going to have people in the exact position they are right now, Don. Which is no matter what happens, everybody sticks with the team," Cuomo said, arguing both Democrats and Republicans have changed their positions since 2016 on filling a Supreme Court vacancy during an election year.

"We're going to have to blow up the entire system," Lemon replied.

"I don't know about that," Cuomo said. "You just got to vote."

"Honestly, from what your closing argument is, you're going to have to get rid of the Electoral College," Lemon said. "The minority in the country decides who the judges are, and they decide who the president is. Is that fair?"

"The system" was set up to hinder oppression and exploitation of less populous states by the more populous states. So rather than enable that oppression and exploitation, let's "blow up" Don Lemon!

That snarked, sounds like Lemon is less than confident of a Biden victory, :silly:  :tongue2: .

No problem, Lemonhead.  Just get Congress to pass a Constitutional Amendment, and then get 3/4 of the State Legislatures to ratify and you're golden.  Even the Notorious RBG would have given you that advice.

HR Clinton knew all too well what the metric was to win in 2016.  Her arrogance is the primary factor that sunk her.  Not having any issues was another.

Donald Trump defined the issues in 2016, and he vocalized what many in America were tired of seeing politicians doing or not doing.

Once again, he needs to focus on what he will do for the next four years and focus on condemning the ideas of Biden, particularly large tax increases on everyone including corporations.  Biden becomes POTUS, we will resume the exportation of companies and jobs, which is pure lunacy.

BIDEN IS A PAWN OF CHINA!  WE NEED A PRESIDENT, NOT A PAWN!

And really, you can count on your one hand the number of idiots listening to Lemon!  No way will the number of states necessary agree to end the Electoral College.  NEVER!

I don't remember what they called the TA in those years... Like the GOAT (*respect*) they shortened it up when it became a brand.

I saw/heard that when it happened.  Lemon and Chris Cuomo were joking.  The next day they laughed about people taking Lemon seriously.
