New York Gov. Cuomo says Trump is ‘actively trying to kill New York City’
CNBC, Sep 8, 2020

A fuming Gov. Andrew Cuomo blasted President Donald Trump on Tuesday for “actively trying to kill New York City” while airing a long list of other grievances about how the Empire State has been treated by the federal government.

Cuomo criticized the president for refusing to approve or fund projects that the governor has championed, such as a proposed AirTrain to LaGuardia Airport, the Second Avenue subway line and failing to provide more federal coronavirus aid for the state and city.

“This is a war on cities. … It is an unsustainable position for the federal government,” Cuomo said at a news briefing. “Either this president will figure it out, or the next president will figure it out. If the Congress doesn’t figure it out, there’ll be mayhem in this country and there will be a different Congress in January. That is my political opinion.”

Cuomo, a Democrat, also criticized Trump’s signing of the Republican-backed cap on the federal tax deduction for state and local taxes, known as SALT. The governor said SALT “targeted” New York City’s tax base.

Killing NY? A proposed AirTrain to LaGuardia Airport, seriously? Andy seems to forget who railroaded grandma into a nursing home full of virus.

Cuomo should save his outrage for when we bring down the bridges and flood the tunnels.

Did they off his brother Fredo yet?
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Watch — Andrew Cuomo: ‘Donald Trump Caused the COVID Outbreak in New York’

Quote
Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) blamed the outbreak of the Chinese coronavirus in New York entirely on President Trump during Tuesday’s press briefing, criticizing the president for the “too little, too late” travel ban on Europe in March.

“Donald Trump caused the COVID outbreak in New York,” Cuomo said, repeating his claim. “That is a fact. It’s a fact that he admitted and the CDC admitted and Fauci admitted.”

“The China virus, the China virus, the China virus. It was not the China virus,” the governor said, repeating his long-held narrative of the “European virus,” not the China virus, infecting his state:
