The look on his face strikes me as a man who is ready to kick some young thug's backside.

The guy in the striped polo seems to sense it, too.

Trump draws fewer viewers than Biden for convention speech

An estimated 19.9 million Americans watched Trump's speech on television, while Democratic nominee Joe Biden drew 21.7 million viewers the week before.

The ratings were based on nine television networks for the fourth night of both the Republican and Democratic conventions. These figures do not include the number of people who streamed Biden's and Trump's speeches online.

Trump did far better on the streaming, which makes me wonder.  Could it be it's the conservatives who are more savvy with the technology than the lefties?  This goes against everything they've been telling us about "tech acceptance" for the last quarter century.  The Millennials were supposed to PWN us in this!

Well, I'm not buying what they're selling --- it is always going to be reported that Sloe Joe is doing better than Trump, regardless.

Quite frankly, I'm looking forward to Wolf Blitzer being in a total panic again when he realizes that Donald Trump has just been re-elected.   :rolling:

I doubt it.  They don't have much of a cable presence.  I watched it there, too.  I got pissed at FNC cutting away to Hannity's stupid face.

I watched on CSPAN so I could see what was happening without some talking head telling me what was happening.

@bilo

He may want to,but is smart enough to know that doing so would release the mob,and not only he,but his wife would be at risk.

There are times when you just HAVE to "stifle" in order to better protect your loved ones.

There are LOTS of lefties that have a computer so they can download or watch porn. This makes them horney, not hi-tech.

I think it's a case of curious Republicans that are political by nature...like all of us here...who tuned in to see the degree of senility or incompetence of the Democrats, while at the same time, the Democrats I know take it as a personal insult if you ask them if they ever tuned in to FOX or OAN, etc..

Does that make any sense?

As much as I like politics this year was a snooze fest. The conventions didn’t have people there, with the signage, the love, neither convention felt like a convention.

Add to the fact that we all knew for months it was Biden vs Trump, the only reason I wanted to watch was I wanted to see what the women on both sides wore. And I got that the next day.

Frankly, at this point, I’m all in for the debates, and election night.  :2popcorn:

The Fake News doesn’t want to report these numbers. The @latimes and others believed the Crooked Dems before the real numbers came out. Too bad we don’t have honest reporting when it comes to “Trump”. Phony sources, they say anything and think they get away with it. November 3rd.

Wow! Despite the Democrats views across TV and online lie (Con!), we had 147.9 million, the Republican National Convention blew the Democrat National Convention  AWAY. Not even close! Just like their lies on Russia, Football (PLAY!) and everything else! NOVEMBER 3rd.

The media is trying to pull off the biggest scam in modern political history. And it isn’t working. Too many private and public citizens, acquaintances, associates and friends know Trump’s heart and his long history of performing countless deeds of kindness as a businessman and private citizen.

Shhhh. Don’t tell Don Lemon.

I'm very aware that this forum is one that completely and enthusiastically supports our President, but there can be some room for a little discernment?  The convention was a nice, tightly made affair but it was solely meant for the already converted in my view. (Pardon if this was mentioned before; this thread is a long one.)  What about the folks that don't know their elbow from their hands that need to know the minutia more than just the blunt instrument of broad statements about saving the country from marauders and mayhem? (BTW Some may easily say that this has been happening under his watch.)  Many may vote for Biden simply because they don't like the president's bluster, pomposity and self aggrandizement (as they see him).  These folks may be needed in November.  I see a "Promises Kept" page on Mr. Trump's campaign website, but there is nothing forward looking. I really think that he needs to go beyond his base and not try to scare people into voting for him. Many just won't take the bait.  Granted the media doesn't help as it's completely one sided (both to the left and right).  His team I think has to calmly address the finer points of daily living, not just any past accomplishments.   Just saying.....    Have a nice weekend all.  :seeya:

I take strong exception to the part I highlighted and think you must not have seen very much of it if you really think that.
