Schumer pledges 'bold and dramatic change' if Democrats win back Senate

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday night teased what the top priorities will be for Democrats if they win back the majority in November.

Schumer, speaking to a national audience as part of the virtual Democratic National Convention, pledged that if Democrats win back the Senate they will be "united," despite a spectrum of views within the caucus.

"If we’re going to win this battle for the soul of our nation, Joe can’t do it alone. Democrats must take back the Senate. We will stay united, from Sanders and Warren, to Manchin and Warner—and with our unity, we will bring bold and dramatic change to our country," Schumer said.


Schumer offered a laundry list of areas Democrats would act on if they win back the Senate, including healthcare, climate change, fighting systemic racism and "restoring" the Supreme Court.

   First thing Schumer would do is finish what Reid started:  End the Filibuster.



    And YES @LegalAmerican Our little experiment about a Representative Democracy is all over at that point, Trump would be a Lame Duck for 4 years accomplishing little to nothing at all, IMHO.

The RINO Senators want to see that more than Schumer . They only need the Senate and they neuter TRUMP for 4 more years and they will do it to. McConnell will make sure they do that to TRUMP.

    @LegalAmerican your presence here does not bother me nor am I threatened by you in any capacity.  As far as your previous reply to me about Democracy, if you'll reread my post I clearly said 'Representative Democracy', which is what our Founding Fathers clearly described as our form of Gov. Incidentally we are a long long way away from that, imho.

Well,Chuckie IS telling the truth about his intentions.

Just remember "Bold and dramatic" is not always  GOOD thing.

One thing seems abundantly clear to me. The Dims and their Rino butt-buddies intend this to be the last "popular election" in America . If they win back the Presidency,it will be the "Full Soviet System" after that.

There is a POSSIBLE bright spot there. The other candidates HAVE to resent being treated like retarded inlaws after being given orders to surrender in order to allow someone they were beating like a rented mule to take the top slot.

Given they have egos as big as any other ambitious politician PLUS a sense of entitlement,the odds are at least one is going to pop their cork and start spilling the beans.

I hope they do,but I also hope they think it through before they start and take steps to protect themselves because their Globalist Masters are NOT forgiving types.
