The protest outside the ICE facility has been growing in recent days, taking on a whole new flavor on Sunday when the naked bike riders arrived as part of an “emergency” edition of the annual World Naked Bike Ride. Take a look:

50 some years ago, as a young man, I went to a strip show in Detroit.  All 7-8 of us being titillated by the display started hollering "put it back on, put it back on," but she refused.  Someone should have hollered the same to these beauties in Portland. :3:

On Friday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “On Balance,” NewsNation West Coast Bureau Correspondent Nancy Loo talked about her ride-along with ICE agents in Portland, where ICE pursued an illegal immigrant who had managed to accrue multiple felony charges after receiving an order for removal back in 2023, and talked about other arrests by ICE in Portland.

Loo said, “Because of sanctuary policies here in Oregon, DHS says immigration detainers are usually ignored by local law enforcement. So, as a result, in many cases, violent felons are just released, prompting complex and often dangerous ICE operations to track and apprehend felons who are in the U.S. illegally.”

She then played footage of the ride-along and stated that ICE was “going after an illegal from Mexico with an order for removal in 2023. Since then, that target has racked up multiple felony charges, including assault.”

Appeals court allows Trump to deploy National Guard troops to Portland

A federal appeals court on Monday said President Trump may deploy the National Guard across Oregon for now, a boon to his efforts to send troops into several Democratic-led cities.

The 2-1 ruling from a three-judge panel on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit lifts a lower court order halting Trump’s deployment of National Guard members while the administration’s appeal is resolved.

The court previously let Trump resume control of Oregon’s National Guard.

“Rather than reviewing the President’s determination with great deference, the district court substituted its own determination of the relevant facts and circumstances,” the unsigned order read.   

Oregon and Portland officials sued over Trump’s National Guard takeover last month after the president vowed to protect the “war-ravaged” city and its U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) offices he said were “under siege.”   

At Trump’s direction, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a memo on Sept. 28 authorizing the federalization and deployment of 200 Oregon National Guard members, despite Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek’s (D) objection.

Portland officials are weaponizing their city’s uniquely onerous zoning laws in their bid to stop Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) crackdown against illegal migrant criminals.

Under pressure from protesters and liberal constituents, Portland leaders are using zoning laws to disrupt federal immigration officials nestled within the high-rise South Waterfront district, according to the New York Times (NYT). The city sent a violation notice to the ICE building’s owner and may revoke the agency’s permit for the building altogether. The local fight is brewing as the Trump administration expands its nationwide crackdown on other major sanctuary cities that have large illegal migrant populations.

🚨Exclusive: A leftist anti-ICE group called Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC) will be moving into a vacant office space at the bottom floor of Gray’s Landing — which is the apartment building directly across the street from the ICE facility.

The NGO holds trainings on how to interfere with ICE operations, and offers tips to illegal migrants on how to evade ICE capture.

Its members have been involved with the ongoing 24-hour Antifa occupation outside the ICE facility, which has resulted in the pending deployment of the National Guard.

According to the letter first obtained by @hunnybadgermom, the City of Portland worked to get PIRC into the building.
A formal letter dated October 25 addressed to Gray's Landing Residents from REACH, signed by Margaret Salazar, details updates on community engagement, media involvement, cleaning efforts, funding for street access, purchase of air purifiers for installation in apartments, and collaboration with Portland ICE for volunteer rights training and support services in the building.
