1.An HONEST calculation would take into account the incomes and assets of their relatives over in Uganda and Nigeria.
2. An HONEST appraisal of opportunity, would show schools and employers give preference to qualified black applicants--i.e. they already get "an even or advantaged shake.
3. I remember discussing this very topic with my careerist boss in the Army. He was a Chief Warrant Officer 2 at the time.
He said he would take blacks if they were qualified, which in our case meant education and typing. He said he had not had one yet.
4. When I supervised in corporate, I was eager to hire/transfer blacks. One guy flat turned me down, because he thought we worked too hard. He saw us getting high visibility, busting our tails.
