Governor-ordered investigation underway into Florida's re-employment system failure

A governor-ordered investigation is underway to find out why Florida's re-employment system failed even after repeated warnings it had big problems.

Florida taxpayers paid $77 million to build what Governor Desantis called a jalopy. The system left thousands of people unable to get the money they're owed after crashing numerous times.

Tallahassee Attorney Gautier Kitchen said attempting repairs to the system is like putting lipstick on a pig.

........“We built the connect system to comply with Florida’s specific requirements and the state accepted the system," Deloitte responded.

“I think they were hired exactly because they made systems that didn't work. Unemployment Florida was never supposed to work,” Kitchen alleged..............

..........NBC-2 is learning investigators are looking for communications between the state and former Deloitte lobbyist, Brian Ballard, who was also chairman of then-Governor Rick Scott's inaugural committee............

On one hand, this sounds greasy, if not slimy. On the other hand, Deloitte is one of the largest accounting firms in the US and could reasonably be expected to have the chops to create a complex but robust UEI system. So the Grease Factor might be less than it appears.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

My hunch is the then Governor Rick Scott indeed designed the system to fail in order to keep Florida's unemployment numbers low -- also to keep costs down.  He's been surrounded by scandal (though never proven) and has made a ton of $$ off of health insurance and medical supplies.

This doesn't absolve DeSantis from any wrongdoing as he was informed about this failing system when he took office.  He sat and did nothing about it ... why it continues to fail needs to be investigated -- I know of 2 state House members (GOP) who are saying this needs investigation and there is a very large prominent law firm willing to do the investigation for free. Yet no investigation as of yet, nor any resolution to applicants.

I still know of several people who have not received any unemployment money -- some filed in mid March as soon as the state was closed down and some around the beginning of April.  One has received 2 checks for extended unemployment - but no unemployment.  Makes no sense.  The system is broken and my hunch  now is by design.
