The country may soon hear testimony from retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn about his experience being swept up in the FBI's Trump-Russia investigation.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he plans to invite the former Trump national security adviser to appear before the panel as soon as the case against him is dismissed.

"We will be pursuing the Flynn investigation and try to explain how it got so off the rails, starting with offering General Flynn a chance to come to the committee and tell the country what it was like to go through this," the South Carolina Republican said on Fox News late Thursday.

Flynn pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to the United States, but later declared his innocence and argued he was set up by the FBI.

The quote was from a time wen the President thought Flynn's plea deal was legit.  We now know, in the fullness of time, he was wrong.  @Once-Ler loves to pull old quotes from POTUS for the purpose of smearing him.  This is just one new example of spamming the forum with bullshit.

Most people change their minds when they realize they'd been hoodwinked.  Apparently to some that is a crime in and of itself.  It's also why he's one of the most ignored Members of TBR.

Law enforcement/justice conspired to entrap Flynn.

It was arranged in Obama's officeearly Jan 2017. It is being discussed this morning, on Limbo's radio program.

You don't need to be a lawyer to know that is not valid evidence.  It is fuit of the poisoned tree, in effect.

The fact this is now coming out, must be devastating to TDS #nevertrumpers.

But those types have no integrity. All they care about "getting Trump."

@Once-Ler, perjury is when a person under oath lies in court or in a deposition. When did Flynn do that? Date and supporting news story link, please.

The Justice Department, as was made clear in the motion, moved to dismiss because the circumstances of Flynn's errant comments to the FBI did not meet the requirements for what Flynn said to be a crime. And Flynn's original plea was made under coercion. If you've never known someone who made such a plea under pressure even though they were innocent, your social circle has been very fortunate.
