@roamer_1

I think it was more of a matter of everyone was so depressed at the fact it was the show that put the series to death had them so bummed out nothing would have pleased them.

BTW,one show I loved that I WANT to see put to death is Shameless. This last season should have never aired.

If you like Better Call Saul, you will LOVE Breaking Bad. You will understand why I say this once you start watching it.

I am a HUGE fan of The Walking Dead, and I freaking HATE horror shows.

The dirty little truth is it is really a show about what happens  after "the end of the world as we know it,and how people adapt and survive as they work to establish a new civilization."

The walking dead are just a "tool" to sell the concept to teens and 20-somethings.

Face it,how scary can a monster be that is growling all the time so it CAN'T sneak up on you,and stumbles along so slowly you can escape by just walking away?

As in real life, the TRUE monsters are some of the humans that survive now that there is no law to stop them from being "who/what" they truly are.

I have a Bookface buddy who loves the Zombie genre.  I'd ask him, "What's the deal?  This is just the teenage horror shit we've always watched!"

He told me No, it's really about the mindless people that surround us every day.  Look at any of the characters deeply enough, and you'll see people you know in the meat world.  And when they move in masses, like we are witnessing today in the form of the run on toilet paper and Campbell's soup, they are a perfect allegory for the Zombe genre.

You may recall my buddy from TOS...Lazamataz.   I moderate a group for him.  "The Annoyingly Overmoderated Group."

I'm thinking about buying Amazon stock....their business has to be exploding with noone leaving the house.

Tesla was at $1,100 @ share two weeks ago.  It's now about $425.   THAT is a steal, too!

AMZN should do well but that's why it hasn't dropped much compared to others. Same with MSFT and AAPL - still well above last year lows. I never thought much of PTON but staying home & no gyms could give them a big boost.

I don't usually conspiracy theory but this sure seems to be a boon to socialist/democrat governors like our California Gov. Noisome in their being able to control the population. 9999hair out0000

Think bigger.

Remember that companies have gone to 401ks instead of defined benefits. Great when stock market goes up, but what about the younger people who have seen their holdings go down so much?

I think more will flock to the siren call of socialism to protect them in their later lives.

Sadly I think you are right.  My nieces....one in college the other in law school are basically socialists.  They were taught that in high school and it was reinforced in college.

Even I've had thoughts of...dear Lord please let me make it to 65, then let me have enough money to make it till I die.  God will take care of us though...I'm sure of that.

His promises are never broken.

I have nieces the same way.  A couple live in Manhatten and think no place else on earth is as nice.

Loooks like a great idea. It might be a "mature" investment.

I have tracked Electric vehicles for awhile (not taken that plunge, yet)

The latest Teslas outperforms the alll new Porsche alternative.

It will be interesting to see where we are at the end of the week. We've been warned that virus stats will get much worse. Passage of the stimulus bill could boost markets; failure to pass would likely sink them further. Longer term, fed pumping could again spur buybacks - the lazy way to inflate earnings. The oil price war could go either way.
