Might be best to question anything not confirmed by multiple sources. I'm even questioning the Fake News when they complain about Trump although I want to believe it, and they already have accurately and unbiasedly warned me about many things.
I'm glad you asked that
@Once-Ler , it's a learning moment and it has come up before in conversation.:
Conservapedia:
The Epoch Times
The Epoch Times is a conservative, anti-communist American newspaper[1] found in 2000 by Chinese immigrants who fled persecution by the Communist regime. There are editions in over 30 countries which are published in more than 20 languages.[2] It is known for its reporting on the Spygate scandal in which Obama administration official and deep state agents spied on the Trump campaign.
Mainstream media smear campaign
In August 2019, NBC and MSNBC began a smear campaign slandering The Epoch Times. It published textbook fake news articles complete with claims from "unnamed" (i.e. non-existent) sources without providing any evidence about the organization, as well as dismissing the Epoch Times' reporting of the Spygate scandal as a "conspiracy theory" without providing any factual rebuttal, take it a step further when Rachel Maddow showed footage from an unrelated YouTube show about conspiracy theories, claiming that was content produced by The Epoch Times. NBC also reiterated propaganda talking points made by the Chinese Communist party on the Falun Gong spiritual practice banned in China, while downplaying the scale of the regime's crackdown on the practice.[1][3] [4][5]

So, most sources on the right speak well of Epoch Times, like they might of, oh, perhaps Breitbart, Daily Caller, National Review and so on.
I'm not sure if articles posted at a minimum in National Review and Daily Caller are always pro-Trump.
Well, we have to watch the Chinese Communists, there's nobody more apt probably than Chinese who have fled from there actually.
Sometimes, when I've heard a statement like yours, I wonder, who is more apt to cover China than Chinese?? They are giving news and have a real connection with the country. Could they be wrong? Yes.
The Epoch Times: How the anti-communist newspaper became an American necessity
by JD Rucker October 20, 2019
“Truth and Tradition.†This isn’t just a motto. It’s the way The Epoch Times operates on a daily basis. It’s also one of the reasons this news outlet has exploded in America and in 34 other countries despite being less than two decades old. But there’s one country in which you will never find a printed paper or access to their website. In Communist China, The Epoch Times is forbidden.
Founded in Atlanta in 2000 by Chinese Americans who had fled Communist China following a crackdown on Falun Gong, the paper quickly spread. It was international by 2003 and built a reputation as fearless reporters exposing communist propaganda that was being disseminated around the globe. This fearlessness came at a price as reporters in mainland China were arrested and jailed. Today, they still cover China from the relative safety of Hong Kong, but there are still great risks as Beijing’s reach goes well beyond the Chinese borders.
“The Epoch Times strives to revive the best in traditional journalism,†said publisher Stephen Gregory. “Our motto is ‘truth and tradition.’
We deliver fact-based reporting free of the agendas that distort so much of journalism these days and seek to be non-partisan.â€

In fact, over the weekend, allegations have been made, not by Epoch Times, it was in the news, of Hillary and even NBC kowtowing to the Chinese Communist Party.

In fact, I'm not all that sure of who is with Epoch Times, I am pretty sure, Larry Elder, "the Great Elderski" was having a show with them. I don't know all of the luminaries with them. That is not my main concern.
There is a possibility, some of what they publish is not easy to confirm via 3rd party, it's reporting on China after all.
