Authorities on Saturday arrested 12 Chinese nationals in Makati City for allegedly engaging in illegal gambling activities.

Police nabbed Zhu Xiao, 30; Jiang Ming Jun, 28; Wang Pan, 26; Mai Jing Hua, 23;  Lyu Wenan, 25; Wun WenWei, 26; Tian Hao Chen, 25; Huang Lin Yu, 25; Zhang Ling, 28;Li Yan Fang, 28; Cai Yan Hang, 28; and Zeng Ying Yi, 25 after discovering the 12 played mahjong daily in Barangay San Antonio.

Mahjong is a form of illegal gambling and playing it violated Presidential Decree No. 1602.

A lot of these cities in the Far East, I do not know of except for the usual, Beijing, Seoul and so on. This is Makati City, rather nice looking:

I hope these guys can keep their anal orfices covered.  Telling cellmates they got busted for hawking a game that looks like dominoes sure isn't going to gain them much street cred.  :silly:
