A day after a nine-year sentencing recommendation for the elderly Roger Stone was filed, Senior DOJ officials immediately distanced themselves from the recommendation. They told CBS News that the prison time recommendation was "extreme, excessive, grossly disproportionate to offenses," and that this is not what was briefed to the DOJ by the assigned prosecutors. Hours later, all four lawyers assigned to the case withdrew, with one, Jonathan Kravis, resigning from the DOJ entirely.

This is unusual, to say the least. Top to bottom, from the start of the case to this shocking end, has been unprecedented. What is going on?

President Trump asked: "Who are the four prosecutors (Mueller people?) who cut and ran after being exposed for recommending a ridiculous nine-year prison sentence to a man that got caught up in an investigation that was illegal, the Mueller Scam, and shouldn't ever even have started?"

If there was prosecutorial misconduct, then there must have been defense incompetence for not exposing it. :thumbsdown:

What?  You think Stone used a PD?  Stone couldn't afford his own talented counsel? 
Stone was found guilty by a jury, and got what he deserved.

The Judge denied motions concerning the known bias of the Jury.  Stone won't get justice until after an appeal of "Judge" Jackson's BS.

You don't think the Jury's Foreman has an impact on those with a weak mind?  This was a DeeCee court, and it would not surprise me there were 12 biased jurors.

No he didn't.   The jury was rigged, the judge biased.  That is NOT my definition of a fair trial.  If that is your definition of a fair trial, then that's your problem (extreme lack of judgment).  And a major one, at that.

These recent Stone defense comments  are probably the most jaw dropping, I have ever seen here. 

Some Briefers seem to have a short memory of how he, Manafort, and Pecker constituted the greatest slime slandering team in history during the '16 Primaries.  No, we won't forget.

Letting Trump love trump recognition of a certified "low life"? A sorry set of affairs, if you ask me.

I take it you would not mind having a Jury rigged against you in a criminal trial?  After all, a standout would cause a hung jury, which would not be an acquittal, BTW.  It would mean a new trial from the same pool of biased jurors.

DeeCee is 80% Democrats, most of whom work for the government.  It's not a stretch at all to believe there were 12 biased jurors.  It's the same reason for not prosecuting obviously guilty Dems in that District....there's no way to get a conviction from that crooked pool of jurors.

The significant part of this case is that Hillary and other prominent lawless Dems are already thinking of using the same tactics of "Prosecutor Over-reach" to throw out any convictions should they ever come to trial and lose.
