Syrian government helicopter downed in Idlib: Turkish state media

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - A Syrian government helicopter was downed in a rural area west of Aleppo in Syria’s Idlib region, where violence and displacement has spiked in recent weeks, Turkish state-owned Anadolu news agency said on Friday.

2nd one in about a week, they are known to drop barrel bombs. Indiscriminate Syrian and Russian bombing, appears to be targeting civilians. Then, we had the article on the Dresden bombing anniversary yesterday.

Turkey is appearing to be kicking some you-know-what right now. It will be interesting to see if this thing escalates, they are not backing down from the Kremlin either.

So, this is quite an interesting scenario playing out, not-to-mention, apparent Israeli bombing in Damascus last night as well.
