MORE than weird!!

The rationale behind that is that IF their city/county is hit hard with coronoa, having stocks of toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, etc., on hand will prevent them from having to go out when the virus is more widespread and putting them more at risk. It will enable them to isolate themselves and their families if necessary. 

We now have 3 cases in my county -- toilet paper, hand sanitizer, hand soap, bleach, alcohol, cold medicine, aspirin, ramen (sp?) noodles, soups, water, etc., are scarce.  I've never seen shelves so bare, even during hurricane season.

Well, so far the MSM and the DEMS have done a terrific job in promoting panic and mass hysteria.  My hunch is this will continue beyond the November election --- in hopes to keep people from voting.

I wonder if some of these sports events are closing down because of possible legal repercussions? I don't know if that is a concern but schools, sporting events, it's surreal, are closing down.  While, many consider everything to be an overreaction, maybe there is a liability issue. I'm not sure at all.

So why can't a single crazy person doing warp 9+ in a Starship take out an entire planet by ramming it? That amount of mass going that speed has to be a planet killer. So inventing anything that can go warp speed is death to that civilization... Be it a navigation error or on purpose it will be destroyed...

I know that, but at our local Kroger the TP was completely out, but there was plenty of canned food, soups, frozen foods and pretty much everything else.

I just think the focus on toilet paper is bizarre!

Because hitting atmosphere at warp 9 would likely turn the ship into plasma.
Big scorch mark, relatively small crater.

Kinda like hitting water doing 60MPH, it just isn't soft any more.

If you are talking warp drive-manipulating space/time-then a starship going at any warp and hitting a planet would completely annihilate everything. Because ya'll didn't take into account that the antimatter engine would lose containment and boom, everyone dies.

Now if you are talking about hyperdrive then you are in a different "reality" and could fly "through" anything because that thing doesn't exist where you are.

In fact you can not even buy TP at Amazon right now.  My wife suggested a bidet for one our bathrooms a few years ago.  Wish I had listened.

If you are talking warp drive-manipulating space/time-then a starship going at any warp and hitting a planet would completely annihilate everything. Because ya'll didn't take into account that the antimatter engine would lose containment and boom, everyone dies.

Now if you are talking about hyperdrive then you are in a different "reality" and could fly "through" anything because that thing doesn't exist where you are.

There's also FTL Drives that "jump" from place to place so they aren't anywhere while jumping. Or something like that... So they're not planet killers like warp drive.

Ban warp drive. Do it for the planets.

A jump drive is more like teleportation. As in quantum mechanics. Entanglement. Locality. Nonlocality. Bell's Theorem, etc.

Somehow you have to convince yourself you are at point B and no longer at point A.

FWIW, I have the flu. My wife, daughter, and grandson are recovering. My son is just coming down with it.

I took the wife to the doc last Saturday morning. She told him I was sick, too. He doubled up on the meds, which he stocks. 2 Z-packs and doubled up on the amoxicillin.

I gave my share of the meds to my daughter.

Total cost of the doc visit and meds was $44.00

IF This is true, horrible... and it's similar to Iran. People here know for the most part, we need to clamp down on our economic relationship with China but elsewhere it's different.
