Julian Castro drops out of 2020 Democratic primary race

Former Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro dropped out of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary on Thursday.

Castro made the announcement in a campaign video, which was first published by The New York Times.

“I’m so proud of the campaign we’ve run together. We’ve shaped the conversation on so many important issues in this race. Stood up for the most vulnerable people, and given a voice to those who are often forgotten,” Castro said in the video.

“But with only a month until the Iowa caucuses and given the circumstances of this campaign season, I’ve determined that it simply isn’t our time,” he said.

He was never in the race.  He was just one of Clinton's shills to weaken Sanders. 

The man said some of the craziest things, all intended to take votes away from Sanders.

I still say this is all choreographed for Clinton.  Talk about puppetmasters.

You betcha. He can't put it in his personal account, but he can keep that campaign account open as long as he wants. He can pay his wife as a campaign employee and funnel it into a joint account.

And the worst part is, every single dime that stays in a campaign account is tax-free. And we wonder how career politicians get rich.

I once served as treasurer, of a PAC. My recollection was it should be donated to a Non-profit entity, like the Clinton Foundation, or the Obama Foundation, the DNC etc.

I'm just glad that all these idgmos from Texas are out of contention (Castro and Beto) They are an embarrassment to the state.
