New York City continues to descend into chaos under the administration of Mayor Bill de Blasio, particularly when it comes to the rule of law. We’ve already witnessed multiple instances of people dumping buckets of water on police officers as they perform their duties. There are weekly “protests” in Brooklyn, where marching vandals chant “F*** the Police” and demand that the cops be banned from subway stations so they can more easily commit crimes. And in the latest incident, a suspect sucker-punched a member of the NYPD right in front of other officers. And thanks to the lax rules being pushed by City Hall, the suspect was back out on the street almost immediately. (CBS New York)

I don't know why,since those are the very people that made NY that way.

What I DO know is there should be some kind of bounty paid for each one caught coming into America,and they should be released back into NY once caught.

Second offenders,of course,should be fed to the hogs.

After the "Rudy Renaissance", one knew that New York City would again start to slide downwards once the democrat-communists regained control.

But who could have believed it would happen so rapidly?

I would like to think that somehow a "Rudy II"  could emerge on the political scene there, but I just can't see that happening again.

I was thinking about how many of those fleeing New York are conservatives and how many are those who voted for the socialist utopia only to find out it wasn't so great as they though it would be. The liberals I know won't even admit that there are downsides, even when they cost them more than money.  In something like this, when I ask how will they feel if a violent criminal is released under this plan and that person murders someone they  love, they will say something like we have to take that risk for the good of society.  They are willing to sacrifice someone they love for the so-called "greater good."

.....,you create the atmosphere which leads to anarchy,riots in the streets,revolution,and the people screaming for the establishment of a police state in order to restore order.

"Do something,DO ANYTHING,BUT MAKE US SAFE!" becomes the order of the day from the citizens,and it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that the leftist agents in government offices all over the land are more than happy to comply. After all,who can complain about them giving the people what they are demanding?

Meanwhile,the people behind this live in secluded mansions with 24/7 armed bodyguards,and in most cases,actual police protection on-site. They and theirs,will NEVER be at risk. "Risk is for the common trash people" who have nothing to lose,not them and theirs.

THEORETICALLY,they are willing to risk this BECAUSE they honestly believe it will never happen to THEM or THEIRS.

Funny,  nobody is talking much about the female cop partner who was tapping the assailant on his shoulder with her baton and asking him if would please get off her partner.
That was an abject example of liberalism almost getting someone, the male cop who was sucker-punched, killed because the elites wanted to be p.c.
In the old days the MALE partner would have applied his nightstick not delicately to the skull of the assailant.
Given who runs NYC, I expect nothing will be done to correct the situation.

They will STILL believe it when they are removed from their homes and put into small apartments for the convenience of the government. HEY! 2,or even 3 families to an apartment with one bath and one kitchen was good enough for the Soviets,so why wouldn't it be good enough for them,too?

Well, @sneakypete , I'm a bit of a cynic myself.
Murphy was an optimist, imho, who said "ANYthing that can go wrong, will, at the worst possible moment."
It's really "EVERYthing...", simultaneously, of course, in a cascade of events started by something ridiculously minor.
(For want of a nail, the shoe was lost...etc. )

There are entire neighborhoods awaiting being rebuilt in cities across the US, leftovers from the destruction and ensuing malaise of those riots 50+ years ago. It's easier to pull bricks down than stack them, gravity works in your favor.
And yes, it CAN happen here, wherever 'here' is.
