I realize such an investigation probably has months of history, but I wonder whether under Johnson UK police will be allowed to be more proactive.

I suspect so. I just read where he is being criticized and blamed for what happened by the left. If there is ONE universal truth about the left it is that thrive in and love chaos. Chaos makes everybody feel unsafe and has them demanding the authorities "do something,do ANYTHING,BUT MAKE ME SAFE!" How can the left NOT love the public screaming for and demanding a police state?
