U.S. Justice Department to target violent crime in 7 cities

Operation Relentless Pursuit will increase federal law enforcement resources in those jurisdictions
The Associated Press · Posted: Dec 18, 2019

The U.S. Justice Department announced a crackdown Wednesday aimed at driving down violent crime in seven of the country's most violent cities.

Attorney General William Barr announced the initiative dubbed Operation Relentless Pursuit at a news conference in Detroit, Michigan, alongside the leaders of the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the U.S. Marshals Service.

The department plans to increase federal law enforcement resources in seven cities it said have violent crime rates high above the national average: Detroit, Albuquerque, Baltimore, Cleveland, Kansas City, Memphis and Milwaukee.

No Chicago, No St. Louis, East St. Louis, No New Orleans and I'm sure, one can think of a few other places.

To decrease the amount of violent crime in many American cities would mean to take what many people call unconstitutional methods. Like  stop and frisk.
Even many conservatives oppose methods like stop and frisk.  Apparently they would rather see exceptionally high homicide rates  than use whatever is necessary to cut down on the violence.

This webpage lists the 30 US cities (population 25K and higher) with the worst murder rates (per capita) https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/blog/highest-murder-rate-cities . The 10 worst are:

1. East St. Louis

2. Chester, PA

3. St. Louis

4. Gary, IN

5. Baltimore

6. Pine Bluff, AR

7. Wilmington, DE

8. New Orleans

9. Detroit

10. Baton Rouge

For the terminally curious, Chicago didn't make the Worst 30, because so many much smaller cities were part of the data set. OTOH, this list does show how BAD cities like St. Louis, Baltimore, Detroit, and New Orleans are, even when much smaller cities are part of the data set.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.
