I suspect the main friction comes from objecting not to what he said, so much as the way he said it.
Personally, I wonder who thinks it is a good idea for some 14 year old snotnose to be making demands of countries and peoples around the world. Who does she think she is? If not for the media, she'd be ranting in the hallways at school and over lunch.
Now, while many of us may think similarly, some attributing her behaviour to her welcome victimhood (in exchange for being a somebody), the bottom line is a question of just who expects us to listen, much less comply?
She's a poster child for the totalitarian Left, FWIW, and the message that this gargantuan fraud being perpetrated upon the human race is being done, not for scientific reasons, but for power and money, is completely lost in the Gratings of Greta, new episode next week.
