CNN’s Joan Walsh attacks president Trump, Melania’s treatment of hero dog Conan: ‘Terrifying’

If CNN contributor Joan Walsh has a say in the matter, the Democratic Party has just been given another article of impeachment in the wake of President Donald Trump’s “terrifying” aloofness toward the military dog Conan.

Hey, when hating Trump is your business, it doesn’t take much to get you worked up.

Conan, the hero dog who was injured in the raid which led to the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was honored at the White House on Monday, receiving both a medal and a plaque.

Yet, Walsh opted to respond to what proves to be a proud moment for military dogs and their effectiveness by trashing Trump and the first lady, who not only selected a “macabre” coat to wear but — egad! — “moves away from Conan multiple times!”

Walsh said on Twitter: “This is terrifying. Trump and Melania exude coldness to Conan the hero dog. Melania, whose coat is slightly macabre (to me, but others may find it lovely), moves away from Conan multiple times.”

A CNN contributor reacted to Conan the dog, the canine who helped kill ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, being presented to the media by President Trump by claiming that the whole experience was “terrifying.”

Yes, really.

“This is terrifying. Trump and Melania exude coldness to Conan the hero dog. Melania, whose coat is slightly macabre (to me, but others may find it lovely), moves away from Conan multiple times,” tweeted CNN political contributor Joan Walsh, who is also the author of a book called What’s the Matter With White People?

Melania's large-floral-pattern coat is not to my taste, but "macabre"? Sounds to me like Joan Walsh and her CNN colleagues are POed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was taken out during Trump's Administration rather than Obama's (or HilLIARy's administration-that-never-was).

President Trump steals pancakes and hates dogs. He also steals newspapers from his neighbors at 1600, and he mugged a girl-scout for cookies. Trump is a bad person, and Melania's coat reminds me of a KKK robe. These people should be arrested and thrown in a dungeon.

So @rangerrebew posted a link to a blogpost that has a video of the ceremony here, http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,383801.msg2100816.html#msg2100816 . As can be seen, Donald and Melania Trump preceded the dog and its handler. The handler chose to remain behind the Trumps, even after Melania moved (one time!) a bit so as to make room for him to move forward.

So Walsh lied, unsurprisingly. This, is CNN!

I'm thinking  -- we are often taught not to pet or cuddle a seeing eye dog because it  distracts them from their duties,  Maybe the Trumps were advised likewise with Conan.  Certain actions might be distracting or it might compel him to attack.
