I know I've posted a few of their songs in the past; but they bring such joy and are such a "positive" in this ocean of doom and gloom that we are faced with on a daily basis.  The kids are growing in their talents; especially the drummer.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but when I was a high school senior I had tickets to see the Modern Jazz Quartet in concert---but I got hit with the flu the day before the concert and had to give my tickets to a friend who also liked jazz. He and his girl friend loved the concert, so at least they had a great evening. I never had another chance to see them.

They start with 1979 and end with 1989. I really like how they edited both the music and visuals from the music videos and incorporated so many different styles of music; pop, punk, new wave, rock and early rap/hip hop.

I got a chuckle out of this video.  I had no idea that Kid Rock performed "Born Free" at Point of Light in front of Carter, Bush, and Clinton .... I don't think they quite knew what to think!!!  He absolutely blew them away!!!   I LOVE IT!!!  :beer:
