Why Did Ruth Bader Ginsberg Just Get $1 Million Prize From Pro-China Institute?

(Liberty Bell) – Recently Ruth Bader Ginsberg was awarded a $1 million prize for “advancing liberal causes,” according to DC Clothesline. Seems so appropriate for one of the nation’s top judges would be awarded money for being liberal when judges are supposed to remain politically neutral and unbiased. The Supreme Court is a joke and has been turned into a political tool, I digress.

The money comes from the liberal, pro-China Berggruen Institute.

Unless she gives the $$ to a charity or the US Treasury without getting a tax deduction/credit for it, would she be in violation of the Emoluments Clause?
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

The first time I saw this (several days' back), all I could think was "what the heck's goin' on here?"

Seems to me that sumthin' ain't right when one of the highest judges in the nation -- a Supreme Court Justice -- wins a "million dollar award".

I don't care WHO the justice is nor FROM WHOM the money comes.

I admit to bein' a bumpkin who knows nuthin'.
But to me, this sounds like either:
- payoff
or
- bribe.

Granted, Ginsburg says she'll donate the entire sum "to charitable sources".
But the CORRECT response should have been, "no thank you, keep the money".

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

That's it, in a nutshell.
