If Accurate, The Impeachment Game is Over – Fake Whistleblower Lawyers Now Retreat From Testimonial Appearance…

A report from the Wall Street Journal outlines a request by lawyers for the fake CIA ‘whistleblower’ that ultimately spells doom for the entire phony construct of the impeachment construction by anonymous complaint.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting the anonymous gossipers’ lawyers are now requesting official impeachment testimony by letters not an in-person appearance.  If this is accurate such a request speaks directly to the abject stupidity of the claim:

    WASHINGTON—Lawyers for the CIA officer whose whistleblower complaint helped ignite an impeachment inquiry into President Trump have asked Congress whether their client could submit testimony in writing instead of appearing in person, according to people familiar with the matter.

    The request reflects concerns about whether the whistleblower could testify to Democrats and Republicans without revealing his identity, and fears that doing so would lead to it being publicly leaked, jeopardizing his personal safety. The intelligence committees haven’t yet responded to the inquiry about potential written testimony, the people said.

    Spokeswomen for the House and Senate intelligence committees didn’t respond to requests to comment.

Funny how... it's always "behind closed doors"... in secret.... Republicans excluded and restricted from participation and/or from even being informed.... with these DemocRats.   Proof positive that they are, per usual, lying and working against America and against Americans.... and trying to veil what they are up to (same thing they did when they passed ObamaCare).

Exactly.   The rats 'claim' to be for the people, and especially for the little guy (the poor)... and yet when it comes to acting like rich, white elitists... nobody even comes close by comparison.

I'll go a step further and say... that all someone has to do is look at the state of San Francisco to see where Pelosi (and other leftist Democrats) would 'drag/push/shove' the rest of the country and fundamentally transform every city into the same leftie craphole.

The Dems aren't serious about impeaching and removing the President.  Their goal is to raise the level of political noise and vitriol so high that independent voters cry uncle and vote for the Dem candidate just to get relief from the daily chaos.  This is all about wounding the President so he will be ousted at the polls.   And that's why my recommended action is to (i) defend the President vigorously against impeachment while highlighting the Dems' dirty politics, and (ii) seek a way to persuade the President to hand the reins over to a successor (e.g., Nikki Haley) that can confront the Dems on the policy issues where they have become increasingly radicalized.

Well so far, I don't see any GOPers defending Trump "vigorously" or otherwise.   All I see is the ssdd joining in the chorus of attacking Trump, especially over the latest fake outrage, the Syrian pullout.   As for Trump stepping down, that is not going to happen and it's a good thing... since there is nobody else that could or would stand up to the azzholes on the left like he has done and is doing and will continue to do.   And again... as long as he does stand against the left and doesn't veer left and appease the rats, I'll continue to support him.   It's just that uncomplicated.

Yeah, it's about bullying.  Seems to me that was one of their weapons used in '16 that didn't work very well, but who knows after three years of non-stop, media-assisted bashing?  People are getting tired of it, but who are they going to be mad at for it?  Trump, or the Antifa thugs beating people up in the streets?  They already seem unhappy with the media's bullying, judging by the TeeVee ratings.  Fox will be losing more viewers to OANN, as they get more purchase on cable.  OANN has pretty good numbers for a streaming service.  Fox is cutting their own throat with hires like Donna Brazille and constant appearances by that fry-voice Jessica Tsarlov (sp?).

I think (i) will happen, and (ii) will not.   JMHO.

I say: Committee meetings are behind closed doors for two reasons:  1. To protect the witness, 2.  If classified material may be exposed.

Yeah, I've heard and seen what the Republicans behind those closed doors had to say about the non-process.  This is yet another 'make it up as you go along' facade perpetrated by the DemocRats... which is delivering the exact opposite of justice.  Only difference this time is... there's no witch hunt .... they skipped the hunt part and went straight for the burn part.

And I posit that your 'splain' about protecting the witness and/or classified material is pure bullshit.
