The mission's lift-off was broadcast live to an audience of hundreds of millions

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told his country's space scientists he was proud of a programme that had come so near to putting a probe on the Moon.

Some might say "what success" and that's proper.

What is a success that India is even doing this.

Larry Elder was giving out stats the other night, how population-wise, the two largest nations on earth, China and India use to be racked with poverty, it was extensive.

Now, (not sure of the exact metrics), India has something like 12% live in poverty, China is way, way down to somewhere in the single digits.
