Some one else posted a link in here that said he was fired from his job about a year ago.

Either way it's weird that a truck driver would be so distraught about losing his job. Those guys always get work

It happens.  If you don't use a turn signal right in front of the cops, and if you look a bit sketchy, they absolutely will pull you over.

If memory serves @OfTheCross this was not the first firing.  He's had trouble holding a job for a while.

I've been pulled over a couple of times due to a burned out tail light. No crazy story, I'm "boring", just got a "Fix-It Ticket" both times. People getting pulled over for an unsafe lane change? I wish it happened more often.

I have been pulled over for a license plate light out. Between the spotlight and the high beams, I'm sure the officer could read my tag just fine, but I got a (verbal) warning to fix it anyway.

Years ago, I was on the road in my Jag going to a wedding.  The speed limit at the time in Texas was 55.  The Jag changes gears at 54.  I was going 65 as the Jag is its best there.  I was on an open, divided road, with no cars except one some distance behind me.  A cop car saw me and stopped me.  First thing he said was, "Wow, what a swell car!" as he looked into the car.  He said, "You husband was good to buy you this car."  I said, "I don't have a husband."  He said, "Can I go home with you?" 

That is the first ticket I had in my life but I was going over 55, so couldn't complain about the ticket.  He told me how to mail the money in, so I did it.  (I did not let him go home with me.)
