Law enforcement sources told CBS News the shooter was identified as 24-year-old Connor Betts, of Bellbrook, Ohio. The sources said police were searching his home Sunday morning.

Another whiny little bitch, with absolutely NOTHING to bitch about (nice, upper middle class family, judging by the house of the El Paso Walmart shooter)... that is merely bored (awwww)  with the goodness that surrounds him.  Needs that eeevil for an adrenaline boost.   Somebody should draft the asses of guys like him, send them over to the ME, and give them a 'real' adrenaline rush....

let them know what it feels like to get shot at by (other) bad guys.

Police in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday identified the suspected gunman in a mass shooting that killed nine people.

Lt. Col. Matt Carper told reporters that the suspect was Connor Betts, a 24-year-old white male.


Carper added that the suspect's sister, 22-year-old Meghan Betts, was among the victims early Sunday.

Six of the nine victims were African Americans, he added.

Law enforcement authorities told CNN that a search warrant was served at the Betts family home in Bellbrook, Ohio.

Ok.  I have no clue one way or the other, so it just seemed odd to me.  Maybe they did it because they weren’t sure he was dead, or maybe he wasn’t dead when they first found him. 

Hopefully someone else on the forum will know and can enlighten us.

These people shooting at other races, that can bring retaliation... and in a way, some of that has already gone around, it's almost like this is some "plot" that was hatched to stir up problems.

I've always thought, those who are so warped to mass kill, no matter who their victims are, also invite retribution on their families. I mean, that's how I'd see someone wanting vengeance and at least, I've heard of those kinds of threats made with past incidences.

I was once told by a former recruiter that the Army wouldn't want a "whiny little bitch" like him.  Don't remember his exact words, but it was something like the military doesn't have the time or resources to try to fix screw-ups.  Probably a good reason not to have a draft or the military might have to take him.
