What About Mary Jo? NY Times Declares Chappaquiddick ‘Another Kennedy Family Tragedy’
By Scott Whitlock | August 2, 2019 12:36 PM EDT

Never change, New York Times. The so-called “paper of record” on Friday used the death of Robert Kennedy’s granddaughter as a way to bring up Chappaquiddick and call it “another Kennedy family tragedy.”

And while the death of young Saoirse Kennedy Hill, as well as the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy are, indeed, family tragidies, Chappaquiddick was a calamity for Mary Jo Kopechne, the woman Ted Kennedy abandoned and left to drown. He wasn’t the victim.

Writers Katharine Q. Seelye and Jonathan Martin’s story on Ms. Hill detoured to the 1969 incident: “Last month marked the 50th anniversary of Chappaquiddick, another Kennedy family tragedy that took place when Edward Kennedy drove off a bridge on a small island next to Martha’s Vineyard.”

Yes, it was said Kennedy left her floating in the car for 18 hours and he lost his driver's license.  Is that a fitting consequence or what?  It was said for Kennedy to call his lawyer before the police to arrange an alibi.  And the cost of cleaning the car was more than he should have been able to handle.  Sad. :drunk:

What about Mary Jo? Just another ho humping her wealthy idol. Even her family didn't care about her once the bag of cash was delivered to their house.
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!

Are you claiming I am wrong? If so,PLEASE inform us all about how her grief-stricken family worked hard to find justice for her.

Oh, I see, because you don't think they tried hard enough she's "just another ho humping her wealthy idol"?  That's sick, Pete.  Seriously sick.

@Sanguine

Thanks for the links,but not a single one of them had even a whisper of public complaint about Fat Teddy from her mother or father. One was about how a relative of hers that wasn't even born until 3 years after she died wanted justice,and the other one was just factual about how the Kennedy Klan controlled the system to keep Fat Teddy out of trouble and in office.
