“Political statement” – Judge tosses Trump campaign staffer’s lawsuit

U.S. District Court Judge William Jung isn’t going to let his courtroom turn into a political battleground. He delivered that message loud and clear Friday when he tossed out a complaint brought by a former Trump campaign staffer. Alva Johnson claims that during Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, he kissed her without her consent. She also alleges pay inequity for women and African-Americans on the campaign.

Ms. Johnson served as director of outreach and coalitions in Alabama during the GOP primary in 2016. Later she did the same work in Florida. Her story is that in August 2016, she had a brief interaction with Trump during a campaign trip through Florida. They were traveling in an RV and during a stop, just before Trump stepped out of the RV, she told him to “go kick ass” and then for some reason, she told him she hadn’t seen her family in a long time. Trump took her hand and leaned closer to her as she spoke, she said. By the way, this woman is a human resource professional. She, however, claims candidate Trump acted inappropriately. She’s traumatized, you see.

Former Campaign Staffer Drops Forcible Kissing Lawsuit Against Trump

Alva Johnson, a former Trump campaign staffer, has decided to drop her lawsuit against President Trump. Back in February, Johnson claimed Trump forcibly kissed her against her will during a 2016 campaign stop in Alabama. Her lawsuit was tossed out in June by a judge who called it a “political statement.” However, the judge suggested Johnson could refile her complaint to get her day in court. Today, Johnson decided she won’t pursue it.

Yeah, the cell phone video that someone made public kind of killed her shake-down lawsuit. She whined about fighting forces with almost infinite resources or some such nonsense, but I'm sure the cell phone that recorded the video cost less than $1000. And the person who made it public probably was just recording an cool moment in their life.

Shot: Trump campaign retaliates against 2016 staffer’s kissing claim

President Trump’s campaign this week filed for arbitration against a 2016 campaign aide who claimed that the president forcibly kissed her without consent and disparaged him before dropping the case after a video of the incident showed that it was a peck on her cheek.

A source familiar with the matter told Secrets that on Monday, the Donald J. Trump for President Inc. campaign filed its claim against Alva Johnson, a 2016 Alabama outreach aide, for violating her confidentiality and nondisparagement agreement that the campaign has required staffers to sign.

The filing with the American Arbitration Association is focused on Johnson’s claims included in a U.S. District Court suit “and corresponding statements to the national news media,” said the source.

The campaign is seeking an unknown “financial restitution” from Johnson.

Video of the alleged incident is embedded below what I quoted. The video proves she lied in filing her lawsuit. Until slanderers and false accusers receive consequences proportional to their slander and false accusation, slanders and false accusations will multiply.
