Venezuelan government, opposition to meet in Norway for talks

Representatives of Venezuela's government and opposition have traveled to Norway for mediation talks amid political turmoil the country.

Norway has said it will lead negotiations in Oslo next week, the Associated Press reported Saturday, citing the Norwegian government.

Jorge Rodríguez, an aide to President Nicolás Maduro and Miranda state Gov. Héctor Rodríguez will lead the negotiations on behalf of the government, the AP reported. Senior congress member Stalin González, former Caracas-area Mayor Gerardo Blyde and former Transport Minister Fernando Martínez Mottola will lead the opposition in the talks, a person familiar told the AP.

They already met in Norway in the last 2 weeks so hopefully, more negotiations is good news.

An article reporting this hasn't come out yet but per the Trish Regan show interviewing Guiado, Maduro is going to call/have new elections soon. Maybe this is how they will seek to straighten this out.
