   I face away probably because  at 6 ft tall and a shower head that's 6'2" it can become problematic at times especially washing my long luxurious hair. 
   Not to mention my privates are sensitive to pulsating/cascading water.

   Actually @libertybele I was perusing MSN and stumbled across an article about how and where most women wash their legs, I was baffled because in all my years of living (with women) I've only witnessed them washing their legs in the shower or a bath (can't find the article now, unfortunately) It was either this shower thing or is Wendy Williams gonna get/stay sober this time? 

   It's not easy coming up with this stuff, ya know?  I may be the Moderator of this Thread and for that I am grateful, Myst,  but all are welcome to post whatever their heart desires (within reason) regardless of whether you are trying to gain insight on your crazy paranoid Trumper friends or the bat$hit crazy Cruzers.  There does not have to be a reason for anyone's madness.

I have to face the showerhead.
For some reason, every time I put my back to the showerhead the water turns brown.

It does offend any sense of symmetry.  But wouldn't it be more efficient to do the whole foot while you've got it hiked up there?

I put my socks on in the bedroom.  The shoes are in the utility room by the door to outside.

House stays a lot cleaner when outdoor shoes are not worn inside the house.  Especially when you own horses and cows...

Good point.  Also, it's much easier to put your socks on before your jeans if you (well, ok, probably not YOU personally) happen to be wearing skinny jeans that day, so there's that.

They put so much chlorine in the water when I was in Egypt it would burn your skin in the shower. We boiled water to drive off the chlorine so you could drink it.

Around here the water is so hard you best do a quick spin or get beat to death.

Yeah.... I have a natural artesian spring... No chlorine (unless something dead gets in it), no fluoride, no nothing. Hard water... but sweet... Gives me spots on my mason jars, but I can live with that.

Other than that, you don't leave it standing in the sink too long. If you don't tend to do dishes, it would be stinking in a day or two.

Dang good water. Living water. I attribute quite a bit of my recovery from illness to it.
