More than a third of New York residents expect to be driven out of the state in the next five years by a lack of economic opportunity.

That’s on top of the million who have left over the last decade.

No state has hemorrhaged people like this since the Dust Bowl.

It is the Cuomo diaspora, New York’s version of the potato famine. Across the country, New Yorkers are the Okies of this generation.

And it’s hard to tell whether the state simply doesn’t care, or actually has depopulation as its objective.

Actually, I believe this is what the downstaters (New York City, Westchester County, Long Island) want.

If the vast center of NY state could be depopulated of deplorables, the elites could then just expand the existing Adirondack Park to cover most of the rest of the state. Force residents and businesses out, then declare it "forever wild".

The "cityots" (think city+Idiot) just don't care.

You're doing it wrong.

From central Jersey, go up the Garden State Parkway to the Thruway.
Then take the Thruway over the Tappan Zee.
From there you can either get to 684 to 84, or 287 to the Merritt Parkway.

A few more miles.
But much MUCH easier!

Objective. The goal is to have the whole state controlled by NYC so that it turns into a leftist Dim "kingdom",where "never a discouraging (conservative) word is heard". Politicians will no longer be elected,but appointed by the Party Board. Actually,that is already the case because if you want to get elected there,you MUST be a Dim and you MUST have the backing of the Dims that run the joint.
