   Hey @INVAR Come on in.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I say this to Beto fans, Trump fans, all fans of politicians: it is un-American, ridiculous, and dangerous to be a fan of a politician. They aren't pop stars. Support them if you agree with their policies. Criticize them when they go wrong. They are servants, not celebrities. —— Matt Walsh

I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races!

I don't want to believe you anymore...you should have done an EO to begin with.

She left again?.....didn't say I didn't like Trump..I am pissed at him. bigly

This was likely forced by air traffic controllers shutting down airports.   Trump, belatedly, acted like the adult in the room and realized the games had to end.    Let it be known that Pelosi was hardly overwhelmed with concern;  her gloating proves she was callous to the damage her f*ck-off stance had on ordinary people.

It was fun, for a minute.......

Oh, spare me the pearl clutching.    Trump is still the President, you know.   Pelosi can preen and gloat, but Trump has to deal with shut airports and stalled businesses and real hardship visited on folks who work and contract with government for their livelihoods.

Sure, he miscalculated on the degree of Pelosi's assholery.   But a tactical retreat can set the stage for later victory.    It does no good to judge Trump for recognizing,  in the face of his responsibilities,  that dying on a hill serves the interests of entertainers like Rush Limbaugh and provocateurs like Ann Coulter,  not the people who elected him, people who actually work for a living.

Are you seriously suggesting Trump should have fired the air traffic controllers?  Are you mad?

Spare me the Melodrama @Jazzhead he televised to the World from the Oval Office a month ago that he, and He alone, would 'take the Mantle' for the Govt shutdown and started blaming the dems 3 days later, right now it is Dems: 2, Trump 0 counting the SOTU.

Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

Damm, I'm glad at least someone here recognizes I'm a NeverTrumper, I was wounded deeply when it was suggested I was so nice that the folks here never noticed... happy77

As I've stated from the beginning of the 2016 primary season  Trump is a grifter who has used the righteous frustration of so many in this country to stoke his ego...

He cares nothing about the Country because he doesn't know the Country, from the day he was born his family wealth has assured he would only be surrounded by folks on his payroll. If they did not agree with him they were gone, I've worked for folks like that as I suspect many have...

Trump's failure today is a failure for Conservatives but more importantly a failure for the Country, to suggest those who fundamentally disagree with Trump are gleeful because he failed, like we knew he would, is certainly not something anyone calling themselves Conservative could possibly be happy for...

Pearl clutching....how did you know pearls were my birthstone..I wear some sort of pearls everyday....and I don't clutch them.

You're breaking my heart...talk about preening..Trump should not have gloated and promised for 3 weeks how he was going to win this standoff...the biggest losers were 800k people who had to endure this madness brought on my him and his naivety in politics

I knew Trump was going to be a 'Hail Mary Pass',  but I figured it was our only shot,  either he was going to succeed, or turn out to be like you said he'd be, or he'd be well-intentioned, but the Establishment in both parties would sabotage him.

I still think it was worth the risk in the end, and it could still work out.  These next few weeks will be critical.   But I will say, even if Trump is considered a failure, he still planted some seeds that may ultimately bear fruit, even if it's after he's out of office.
