"Congress... you have three weeks. Either put the money for the wall into the budget, or I will shut things down again... and this time the layoffs will be permanent!"

My point awhile ago was start laying off federal employees. Make the consequences real for the Dems.

That movement is one was specifically referring to. I've been close to that group since they were in a hole in a wall trailer in Overton (technically before but that's a story for another day). A slick website doesn't make something trustworthy.

Looking back on the past few weeks, I’d say it wasn’t strategy at all, but a reflex. Pressure from the right made him panic. He thought he might force a vote on $5B for the a portion of the wall, thinking it would go through and fight the next Congress for more. He gambled and lost.

This "temporary" reopening of the Government is the camel's nose under the tent flap for the Dems...the Government won't get shut down again...and the wall won't get built now that the Dems have made Trump blink on this.
