Poll: Majority of US citizens want troops to stay in Syria
Tzvi Lev, 18/01/19
Vast majority of Americans oppose Trump's decision to pull out troops from Syria, do not believe ISIS is defeated.

Reuters

Over 59% of Americans want US forces to stay in Syria, a survey by The Hill found.

The survey also found that 35% believe the US military should remain in Syria because they do not believe that ISIS has been defeated, compared to 10% who agree with President Donald Trump that ISIS was defeated and that the forces should be removed.

An additional 24% said that while they believed ISIS has been defeated, the US should keep its military presence in Syria.

I have a real hard time believing this. Where did they take the poll?

If Trump was for keeping troops there while Democrats were calling for their withdrawal, then this same pollster would be reporting that a majority of Americans want troops withdrawn.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

This survey was conducted online within the United States from January 12-13, 2019 among 1,001 registered voters by HarrisX.  The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

Online poll.  Not worth a shit.
